We would like to cordially invite you to the 2011 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Asia Forum for Investor Education (AFIE) to be held in Seoul, Korea from November 10 (Thursday) - 12 (Saturday). AFIE was launched in February 2010 as the regional sub-committee of the International Forum for Investor Education (IFIE), a global alliance of public and private sector investor education providers.

Amid ongoing troubles and volatility in the global financial markets, investor education is becoming increasingly important. In this context, the AFIE AGM will provide a timely opportunity for market practitioners from both the public and private sectors to get together and share investor education information and experiences with each other.

The 2011 AFIE AGM will mainly consist of membership meetings, country reports and panel discussions. Each attending delegation is encouraged to make a brief presentation on the status of investor education in their respective jurisdiction. This will be followed by four panel sessions on a range of topics relating to investor education. For more details, please refer to the program overview.

Please fill out the registration form and submit it to us by no later than October 17. We would appreciate it if you could send us a copy of your presentation materials (country report and/or panel discussion) by October 24.
